Missed Departure
If you fail to reach the point of departure on time
because of failure of public transport or if you have
an accident or breakdown we will pay for extra transport
and accommodation costs to the limit in the policy.
Holiday Abandonment
If the holiday or journey is necessarily cancelled
following a delay of not less than 24 hours beyond the
scheduled departure time, the policy will indemnify
the insured up to the amount shown in the policy wording.
Ski Equipment
The policy will indemnify the insured in respect of
loss or breakage of ski equipment up to the amount shown
in the policy.
Ski Hire
The policy will indemnify the insured up to the limits
shown in the policy, in respect to loss or damage to
the ski equipment.
Personal Effects & Baggage
The policy will reimburse the insured up to the amount
shown in the schedule of cover, for the value of personal
property taken or purchased on the trip by the insured,
which is accidentally lost, stolen or damaged.
Ski Pack
The policy will indemnify the insured up to the amount
shown, for the proportionate value of any unused ski
pass, ski hire or tuition fee, in respect of accident
or sickness of the insured, or loss or theft of the
insured ski pass.
Sports Equipment
The policy will indemnify the insured up to the limits
shown in the policy, in respect to loss or damage to
the sports equipment, only in transit and not whilst
in use.
Piste Closure
In the event that, due to the lack of snowfall or adverse
weather conditions in a pre-booked winter sports resort.
Avalanche
The policy will pay the insured up to the amount shown
in the schedule of benefits for additional accommodation
expenses in the event that the outward or return journey
is delayed as a result of avalanche, for at least 12
hours.
